There are about forty years that the family Antano leads this small company with about twelve acres of vineyards. The acquisition of the farm dates back to 1967, but only after ten years was undertaken the road of quality wine production. The vineyards, housed on clay soils and rich in minerals, have been planted since 1975. Colleallodole is a fancy name inspired migratory bird in October that flies over the vineyards of the company.
For the tourist
Francesco Antano is nicknamed "The craftsman's Sagrantino" and this is easy to understand for those who visit his small winery that is an integral part of the house and that produces about 80,000 bottles. The basement consists of a single room where they are carried out all stages of production, from fermentation to aging to bottling but also the tasting room: a simple and hospitable place that reminds the cellar that had our grandparents. For visitors there is a chance to taste the wines accompanied by bruschetta with extra virgin produced on the farm.
