The "Terre de 'Trinci" winery was founded in 1992. It takes its name from “Trinci”, a Ladyship from Foligno who led the lands upon which the vineyard lies between the 14th and 15th century. The decision to choose this name is a sign of deep and strong ties with the area and its main vine: Sagrantino. The winery, including all of its members, owns around 620 acres of vineyards with an annual production of about 15000 tons of grapes.

Extra virgin olive oil, Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG and Montefalco Rosso DOC are at the heart of the winery tasting, which the Terre de 'Trinci winery offers wine and food enthusiasts. Besides the typical local Sagrantino wine, step by step, new wines are being created within the modern setting, reflecting the continuing evolution of the company, to better express their desire to combine tradition and innovative always, in the search for high quality. Terre de 'Trinci was the first winery in the "Lands of the Sagrantino"' to apply the certified quality system UNI EN ISO 9002.
