Obiettivo del MTV umbria è quello di accrescere il settore enoturistico che rappresenta una risorsa economica fondamentale per lo sviluppo del territorio regionale.

The winery was founded in 1957 and its members are about 200 of the best wine producers from the Hills in the Trasimeno district. The adoption of new cultivation techniques, major investments in the winery and the technical contribution of skilled professionals in the sector, make this winery one of the most interesting in its territory. Its strong relationship held with the land is one of the characteristics of the Duca della Corgna wine, thanks to the traditional vines from the Trasimeno hills, planted on 125 acres.

For the tourist

Some members belonging to the wine producing cooperative are also involved in the farming and gastronomic line of business. The production is not limited to wine only, as specific attention is also given to safeguarding other specialities of the territory. In the store adjacent to the winery, you can find local products such as olive oil and honey and the Trasimeno Bean and pulses which are very rare, due to the long, hard and totally manual cultivation methods needed. The winery also produces Vinsanto and Grappa. Wine tastings and guided tours of the winery are available, with English-speaking guides, upon reservation.
