The winery was founded at the end of the 19th century on the small holding of Sant’Enea in Perugia. From the large terrace which overlooks the 25 acres of Grechetto, Sangiovese and Sagrantino vines, you can admire the picturesque Umbrian landscape. Managed by the Chiorri family for generations, with the collaboration of highly skilled and specialized personal, the winery blends old traditions with modern technologies in order to offer a wine capable of giving, on every occasion, delightful emotions and endless moments of joy.
For the tourist
The Chiorri Winery has an inviting tasting room, where you can taste the wines of the house under the guidence of knowledgeable professionals. Guided tours of the vineyards and winery conclude with wine tastings paired with cheese, cold cuts and other Umbrian specialities and are available upon reservation. The winery opens its doors to children in nursery, primary and secondary schools with the aim of spreading the culture of farming . The company also has an Agritourism where apartments are available for reservation. It is also possible to book typical umbrian cooking courses and visits to the Umbrian ceramic and textile handicraft workshops. Mini courses are also available to learn the ABC’s of the vineyard, winery and tasting.
