Lungarotti has been synonymous with Umbrian wine for over 50 years. The winery was founded in Torgiano by an enlightened and farsighted entrepreneur, Giorgio Lungarotti. Today his daughters Chiara and Teresa are at the helm, while their mother Maria Grazia directs the eponymous Foundation. "Wine – culture - hospitality" is the guideline that characterizes the companies comprising the Group: environmental protection and production of quality wines, known all over the world; two museums that are unique in their art collections inspired by wine and olive oil; hospitality and well-being with the resort & spa Le Tre Vaselle and Agriturismo Poggio alle Vigne. Two wineries in Torgiano and Montefalco, the two DOCG areas in Umbria.

TTorgiano is the heart of the company, where a hospitality office organizes tours and tastings for everyone who wants to learn about the passion and professionalism that are behind a bottle. Tours and tastings are also organized at the winery in Turrita di Montefalco. Avant-garde production paired with tradition blend seamlessly at the winery which put Umbria on the wine map, where you can find in the historical archives the best vintages of Rubesco from 1962 to today. A must-see is a visit to the vineyards on the surrounding hills, with landscapes ranging from Perugia to Assisi, as well as a tour of the Balsamic condiment aging cellar: also a unique experience! A forerunner in the field of wine hospitality, Lungarotti offers the possibility of tours, tastings, meals and links to the museums and L’U Wine Bar in the heart of Torgiano.
