The Baldassarri agricultural company was born from the passion and the entrepreneurial ability of Luciano Baldassari and his sons. The company consists of approximately 25 acres of vineyard. In order to commercialise their wine, in 2005 a winery was built to produce wine from their own grapes. The wine is now sold by the bottle and from the barrel at their own stores, and to restaurants, wine bars and wine specialist shops. Also in 2005 the company planted approximately another 12 acres focusing on international varieties.
For the tourist
It is possible to go beyond the simple tastings of the eight wines from the winery, by discovering other delicacies bearing the Baldassarri trademark, such as cured wild pork salami, extra virgin olive oil, lentils, jams, and pasta sauces. These are the strong motivations that drive the wine tourist to this winery. The wine production is targeted to an annual quantity of 110,000 bottles. Guided tours of the winery and vineyard can be conducted in English, French and Spanish by appointment only.
