Today, the physiognomy of Castello di Corbara Agricultural Company is a true reflection of its new projects aimed at the enhancement of the winery’s wine production, driven by the decisiveness and passion of the family, which bought the property in 1997. This goal was inspired primarily by the inherent need for the recovery of values which show respect for the territory, whose authenticity is always expressed in every wine produced.
For the tourist
Delightful guided tours through the vines (vineyards of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Grechetto) and within the winery among French oak barriques (Allier, Jupille, Never) with engaging tastings of the “Castello di Corbara” wines, paired with local delicacies. Also available for you to enjoy, are the excellent catering services and accommodation offered by the Agriturismo Tenuta di Corbara and the restaurant “Il Caio”; which reflects typical Umbrian traditions. The agritourism consists of 6 guest houses, 3 panoramic swimming pools and several double rooms. You can take guided tours to the archaeological Roman area in the Port of Pagliano and guided excursions on foot or mountain bike to explore the Estate. Still today it has a hunting reserve, riding school and ceramic course for children.
